PROGRAMMING
PEI Connectors supports immigrant entrepreneurs and job-seekers by connecting them with local business and community leaders to grow professional networks and expand career opportunities across Prince Edward Island. Through a network of volunteer mentors, business leaders, and community partners, we help clients navigate the local business and labour market environment and overcome barriers to success.
Our services are offered at no cost throughout Prince Edward Island (PEI) in English, French (upon request), Mandarin, Vietnamese, Spanish, and Persian.

We assign a Program Officer to you to provide you with one-on-one support
Meet with your Program Officer to discuss your business goals and plans
Your Program Officer will connect you with Volunteer Connectors, who are established business and community leaders
Meet with Volunteer Connectors in one-on-one scheduled meetings
You ask questions and get the support you need regarding your business
You can follow up with Volunteer Connectors and begin to develop your own personal network
Job seekING Clients

Our services are designed to assist job-seekers who are new to the local labour market and need guidance and support to navigate the challenges of establishing their career on Prince Edward Island
OUR PROCESS

We assign a Program Officer to you to provide you with one-on-one support
Meet with your Program Officer to discuss your professional goals
Your Program Officer will connect you with Volunteer Connectors, who are professionals in your field of interest
Meet with Volunteer Connectors in one-on-one scheduled meetings
You ask questions and make note of current market demands and skills required in your field
You can follow up with Volunteer Connectors and begin to develop your own personal network
- International students who have recently completed a post-secondary degree or diploma and/or are in their final year of a post-secondary program
- International and inter-provincial newcomers to PEI who have completed a minimum of a 1-year post-secondary education or training program and/or received a diploma, certificate or degree
