Mohsen Mokremi was born and raised in Tehran, Iran’s economic and cultural capital and the country’s major industrial and transportation hub. His academic journey began with a bachelor’s degree in management, followed by a Master of Business Administration with aspecialization in Strategy and a Doctorate in Business Administration. With such a distinguished background, Mohsen secured opportunities at major corporations such as Renault and Siemens, and he spent two years in Germany specializing in human resource management and cultural affairs. Upon his returnto Iran, he rose through the ranks in the country’s largest e-commerce business, eventually moving to Dubai to establish a distribution platform-based business.
After years of leading high-stakes operations, Mohsen sought a new adventure that would provide better education and a peaceful environment for his family. He says, “I am always looking for new challenges. These fresh adventures help me showcase my abilities” Mohsen began exploring options that combined world-class opportunities with safety and stability for his two children. Canada emerged as the best choice. “Tehran has a population of over 10 million people. You can imagine what the traffic is like. While we could have moved to larger provinces, we decided that relocating to Prince Edward Island would allow us to experience a change in both our lifestyle and career path.

Having been immersed in Iran’s 2,500-year-old culture from birth, inspired by the infrastructural transformations of the United Arab Emirates, and influenced by Germany’s commitment to precision and excellence, Mohsen found the peaceful and friendly nature of PEI and its people to be unparalleled. “Prince Edward Island combinesthe beauty of its natural landscape, rich culture and history, great weather, and limitless opportunities for growth.” In his view, the people of the Island deserve the best, and he hopes to contribute significantly to enhancing the quality of services and the overall well-being of its citizens.

Leveraging his skills andexperience in logistics, Mohsen sought a viable business to purchase and operate. He ultimately explored an online courier service providing business support functions such as printing, packaging, document finishing, and mailbox rentals under one roof. After thorough research, Mohsen became convinced of its growth potential and acquired UPS Store #527 in Charlottetown in 2024, and completed relevant training to support this endeavour. His background in e-commerce and deep knowledge of distribution channels and courier services have been instrumental in managing the business.

“Customers have shown great trust in us as a local Canadian business, but there is still plenty of room for growth and improvement,” Mohsen says. The primary goal for his first year of operations is to establish a strong reputation for consistently delivering high-quality, reliable services. Over time, he also aims to create more job opportunities through this business. “The support from PEI Connectors has been truly incredible throughout this journey. It has allowed me to connect with people from across the island and has given me the confidence that I can overcome various challenges. I know that with the support of Islanders and the provincial government, we can build a better future even in the face of economic and geopolitical challenges,” he says.
